Since 2000, the BRASS Education Committee members have been maintaining Selected Core Resources and Best of the Best Business Websites based on their subject expertise and focusing on comprehensive sites.

Selection criteria include:

1. Currency of content.
2. Stability of content over a long period of time.
3. Quality & usefulness of content.
4. Ease of navigation.
5. Website familiarity.
6. Dependability of content in teaching and/or answering reference questions.
7. Preference of .edu/.gov/.org domains vs. .com.
8. Authority of author.
9. Website endorsement.
10. "Free" websites. Fee-based websites are selected if they are well known and offer unique content. They are indicated as $ Fee-based on the guides.
