Andrew Felton is the Associate Director, Risk Analytics for Complex Financial Institutions at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He's been at FDIC twice, from 2005 to 2011 and from 2013 to the present. In the interim he served as a Senior Supervisory Financial Analyst for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Dr. Felton has his PhD in Public Policy for the University of Maryland, a Masters in Economics from Tufts, and his B.A. in English from Carleton College. He has served as President of the Society for Government Economists and is author of "Does Inequality Matter to Individual Welfare" in the book, "Happiness, Economics and Politics" and edited the book, "The First Global Financial Crisis of the 21st Century" from VoxEU.org, the Centre for Economic Policy Research’s policy portal.
