Min Tong

 

 

 

 

 

 

Min Tong is the Business Librarian at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Prior to becoming the Business Librarian for UCF, she has worked as a Campus Librarian on two regional campuses at UCF from 2007-2017. As a Business Librarian, Min has a keen interest in the transformative impact of AI on business education, research, and specifically, its influence on the realm of business librarianship.

 

 

Peter Z. McKay

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peter Z. McKay has been the business librarian at the University of Florida since 1985. Mr. McKay is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and holds a master’s in Library Science, a Master's in Economics, and a Bachelor's in Accounting. He created the online UF Business Library in 1996 from a single page, and it has grown into a comprehensive research library. He is the Economics subject editor for RCL. Awards: BRASS Excellence in Business Librarianship Award (2015).

Andy Spackman

Andy Spackman (MBA, MLIS) is Associate University Librarian for Collections Services at Brigham Young University, where he also teaches for the Marriott School of Business. He is a past President of the Utah Library Association, a past Chair of the Business Reference and Services Section of RUSA, and a frequent presenter at library and business communication conferences.

 

Eduardo Velasquez

Eduardo Velasquez is the Senior Director of Research and Economic Development at San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC), a nonprofit mobilizing business, government, and civic leaders to maximize the region’s economic prosperity and global competitiveness through an inclusive economic development framework that is focused on skilled workers, quality jobs, and thriving households. Eduardo leads a passionate and talented team that is responsible for tracking regional trends and providing actionable insight, as well as supporting business expansion, attraction, and retention across the region. Prior to EDC, Eduardo worked as an Economist at Wells Fargo Bank. He earned an MA in Business Economics, as well as a Double BA in Business Economics and Law & Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
